Pigment International Joins Chicago Independent Media Alliance for Annual Fundraising Campaign Supporting Award-winning, Independent Media Outlets
Chicago — For the second year Pigment International joins the Chicago Independent Media Alliance (CIMA), a coalition of more than 80 local media entities, for its annual fundraiser from June 5–19. With the theme “Powering Independence,” the fundraising campaign will highlight the real-world impact of these independent outlets, how they disrupt the areas they report in for change, and how CIMA supports these trailblazers. All donations will be matched by local foundations until funds run out.
Pigment International was part of the fundraiser in 2022 and is excited to join and encourage its enthusiasts to take part. “The support from CIMA 2022 Fundraiser was instrumental in allowing Pigment International to expand its programming last October during Black Fine Art Month. We have a kinship with these media outlets who tell unique and many times unheard stories,” said Pigment International Founder Patricia Andrews-Keenan.
