Pigment International was excited to participate in Grainger corporations’ Black Enterprise Network (BEN) Black History Month program celebrating African Americans in the arts. The BEN celebrated the visual arts, music, spoken word, poetry and literature with speakers from across the country. Pigment’s founder Patricia Andrews-Keenan did a presentation on Black art history followed by a conversation with artist Eddie Santana White. Many thanks to Johanna Reyes Zeno, Tracey Diaz and all the members of the BEN for extending the invitation and their hospitality.
MARTHA’S VINEYARD’S HIDDEN GEM SHINES ON GLOBAL STAGE: KNOWHERE ART GALLERY PREMIERES AT 60TH VENICE BIENNALE
Knowhere Art Gallery, based in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, proudly announces its debut at the esteemed 60th Venice Biennale, in collaboration with the European Cultural Centre’s 7th Edition-Personal Structures. The gallery will present the premiere of ‘A Common Thread That Binds Us,’ an insightful exhibition exploring the universal journey of humanity through contemporary art. The exhibition will be on display from April 20, 2024, to November 24, 2024, located in the historic Palazzo Bembo.
Artists to be featured in the show are Alison Croney Moses, Maria-Lana Queen, Adana Tillman and D. Lammie Hanson.
