The four-day celebration will be a cultural cornerstone during Black Fine Art Month (BFAM), featuring national and international art programming, dynamic panels, youth showcase, and creative commerce, all designed to elevate Black artistry and ownership.

A limited number of gallery exhibition spaces are now available, and Pigment International is thrilled to welcome Faie Fine Art of Bronzeville as the first confirmed exhibitor, effective May 1. Gallery registration remains open through July 1, 2025.

Designed by architect, artist, and designer Sharon Samuels, the fair will blend architectural elegance with visual storytelling, including:

  • Artist Alley, a curated showcase of 10 independent artists
  • The DREAM Student Exhibition, highlighting emerging talent
  • Pigmented Store, offering limited-edition merchandise
  • Commemorative programming for the 80th Anniversary of the American Negro Exposition
  • A visual history of Chicago’s Black-owned galleries

Renowned media personality Dometi Pongo will serve as host for the event’s public programs and conversations.

Pigmented is honored to collaborate with a growing network of visionary partners and cultural institutions, including:

Art Money, Blessman Family Foundation, BUFI, Chicago State University, Congresswoman Robin Kelly, Diasporal Rhythms, DuSable Museum, Faire Fine Art, Flourish Foundation, GangGang Culture, ILA Creative, South Side Community Art Center, Vicki and Bruce Heyman, and 100 Black Men of Chicago.
